Originally formed in 2002, NAMTEC improves the competitiveness and sustainability of the metals and related engineering/manufacturing industries throughout the UK. We provide an innovative technical support programme to industry and deliver direct economic benefit to the UK’s manufacturing base.

What we do

THE AMRC - NAMTEC Forum is our technology network for manufacturing businesses. Administered by NAMTEC it provides companies with the knowledge they need to achieve sustainable growth and long-term prosperity.

Membership is open to any national or international company from the manufacturing sector.

Membership costs just £300 per year.

Direct company support scheme
NAMTEC manages an ERDF funded programme to support companies in the Yorkshire & Humber region. Part of this programme provides a source of financial support to undertake developments leading to tangible improvements in businesses. This ‘fund’ offers up to 75% of the cost for an expert to deliver suitable short term, high impact projects which lead to benefits in jobs and profits.

All projects will be considered; however, projects typically have a value of £5,000 to £20,000.
