Outokumpu Stainless Distribution is an integral part of the Outokumpu Group, one of the world's largest and leading stainless steel companies. We focus exclusively on stainless steel, giving us an extensive knowledge of the market and our clients' needs. From our purpose built service and distribution centre in Sheffield, we offer the broadest product range of any stainless steel service centre, in terms of grades, product forms and finishes and dimensions offered; including including cold rolled and hot rolled plate, sheet and coil, tubular, thin strip and long products and foundry feedstock. Our long products portfolio includes stainless steel reinforcing bar, produced in both coils (8mm to 25mm diameter) and straight lengths (12mm to 25mm diameter), and cut up to 12m in length. The reinforcing bar is produced to BS6744 standard and the mill is currently going through the CARES approval process.
Our processing capabilities include coil and sheet polishing in a variety of finishes, wide and narrow coil slitting and blanking, shearing, plasma, laser and water jet cutting and cold and bar sawing. One of our areas of expertise is in high performance special grade materials including duplex, super austenitic, heat resistant and boron containing stainless steels. We have extensive stocks in the UK and can call on stocks held throughout the Outokumpu Group.
