Since 2000, the BSSA website has been providing technical information about stainless steel and during that time the amount of information has grown dramatically. At the same time the use of the site has risen sharply. The new site has been designed to help you find information much more easily. Brussels, 2 July 2008. According to preliminary figures released today, global stainless steel production was 7.4 million metric tons (mmt) in the first quarter of 2008.
