Some Like it Hot

Shower Shower - too hot, too cold

Stainless steels are ideal materials for manufacturing pressurised cylinders for heating and storing water for use in the home. These modern systems are designed to deliver plentiful hot water to several outlet points simultaneously, meaning that the Power Shower experience is not rudely interrupted by a tap being turned on elsewhere in the house!

Unvented, pressurised water heating systems in the UK are now popular, and the cylinders are most often made from a lean duplex stainless steel. Its high strength is a particular benefit over copper, allowing thin walled, lightweight and cost effective cylinders to be made. When coupled with the excellent corrosion resistance toward UK mains water, a long service life can be expected.
